It was built in 1910 as a simple country house, the lodge holds remarkable historical value having hosted notable figures such as Queen Elizabeth II and Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.
In 2000 the property was tastefully renovated into a charming hotel that now accommodates up to 30 guests. Blending history with comfort, Castle Forest Lodge offers a serene retreat where guests can enjoy the cool mountain breeze and relax on wide verandas overlooking the forest canopy and the majestic peaks of Mount Kenya.
