How to Book:
To book one of our safaris, simply complete the online booking form on our website, providing the relevant travel information. Be sure to include your preferred tour dates, number of pax and itinerary. Upon submission, we will promptly provide a safari quotation and confirm availability. Once you confirm, we will secure your reservation and send you a confirmed invoice for your booking.

Deposit and Payment Terms:
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The balance must be paid in full before the commencement of the safari. For bookings made within 20 days of departure, the full amount is due at the time of booking. We accept payments via wire transfer, and all payments should be made in US dollars or any freely convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate.


Booking Terms and Conditions:
Tour Inclusions
: The price quoted includes transportation as per the itinerary, accommodation based on the meal plan specified and the services detailed in the tour package. Tour prices do not cover visa fees, local departure taxes, excess baggage charges, tips or personal expenses such as drinks, laundry and telephone calls.
Airlines and Travel: Flight services within Kenya are subject to international air conventions. Passengers’ baggage is carried at their own risk.
Changes and Substitution: Bison Safaris reserves the right to substitute hotels of comparable quality or change the itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, airline disruptions or other valid reasons.


Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are provided based on the cancellation period:
40 – 60 days before departure: Full refund minus a $50 administration fee.
14 – 35 days before departure: 75% refund of the tour price.
0 – 14 days before departure or no-show: No refund.

Liability:
Bison Safaris acts as an agent for clients in securing services such as accommodation, transportation and tours. We are not liable for loss, injury, accident or damage caused by suppliers, independent contractors or factors beyond our control (e.g., terrorism, natural calamities, government actions). All baggage is carried at the passenger’s own risk and we recommend travel insurance for protection against baggage loss, delays, or unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for changes in airline schedules, delays or other factors resulting from force majeure events such as civil strife or war.

Traveler’s Responsibility:
By booking a tour, you represent that you and your travel companions do not have any physical or other conditions that could pose a hazard to yourselves or other passengers. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any passenger whose condition may jeopardize the safety or enjoyment of others on the trip.

Refunds and Claims:
Refunds are not provided for missed services unless verifiable extenuating circumstances apply. Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the tour’s completion, accompanied by supporting documentation. Claims will be processed based on the actual cost of services, not on a per diem basis. No claims will be accepted after 30 days.

Air Transportation:
We strive to offer the best-priced airfares available for your chosen class of travel. All airline services are subject to the terms and conditions of the airline.
